I was getting a bit tired of maintaining both a website and a blog.  The website was nice in that I could organize it how I wanted (and had written a bunch of Perl scripts to automate most of the work) but the lack of interactivity made the site seem … old-fashioned.  But doing both a blog and a site seemed redundant, hence this new blog.  The old site is still there: just click here.

I’m still getting situated with the new blog and will try to link to as much of the stock research as possible but all new updates will be on this blog from here on out.  I had a couple fancier themes in the bag but my girlfriend talked me into simple and readable — after all, most people come here to get information, not to be blown away by sleek graphics.  Now why one can’t do both, I don’t know.
